I've been reading Cute Overload lately, which has made me highly susceptible to awww's when I find pics of cute little rascals on my camera. Must share. This is the wildlife that populates my backyard, as captured by my brother.
P.S. Please look at this puppy. The cute is killing me!

The back forty
Ah, the back forty. It needs help. This part of my backyard is supposed to be a vegetable garden, but instead, I'm cultivating a healthy crop of weeds and a couple rogue trees.
I did a little clean up on this area on Sunday, but I don't have much to show for it.

Down the drain
Why the long face? Because sewage backed up out of the floor drain in my basement and I had to muck around in it to clean it up and then I needed to hose off in the front yard because I couldn't put anything down the drains inside, that's why.
Roto Rooter and I had a hot date tonight.

Limb trim
Mother Nature did a little tree trimming for me last week ( Uh, thanks, I guess). I wouldn't recommend her services. I had to recruit extra muscles and a chainsaw to finish the job she left half completed.

Raise the roof
My dad has mad skillz. He knows how to do stuff. This weekend he fixed a leaky spot on my roof with varying degrees of help from my brother, my mom and me. And as a bonus, he fixed a spigot, too!
Double bonus: My mom whipped out her green thumb and planted some flowers and other vegetation around my yard.

Dog-sitting Suds
I spent the better part of last week dog-sitting Suds. He's a good dog and quite the little (ahem, large) lover.

Disaster, courtesy of the Internet
My plans for tonight: Unpack my suitcase and tidy my room. Unfortunately for my room, the Internet got in my way, sucking me in with it's tales of strangers' lives, free shipping deals, singing public school kids, Shakespeare in the park, a missing airplane and fuzzy llamas. Now, it's almost 11 p.m. and my room looks like this.
