- For those that suffered from the blues after watching Avatar, they need to go to Iceland. Eighty-five percent of the stuff on Pandora is there.
- Waterfalls are everywhere.
- It's a good starter place for someone who wants to put his/her toe into the waters of international travel.
- You only have to do as much hiking as you want to do. For us, that was minimal.
- Egils Gull beer (one of Iceland's home brews) tastes like Busch Light or Natural Light. Not so good.
- We didn't need to have any Icelandic kronur on us. We could have made it through the entire trip with just credit cards.
- To pay at the pump with a credit card, you need a PIN.
- I didn't feel self-conscious about not being able to speak the native language, because there's only about 320,000 people that speak Icelandic.

Jen! Wow, looks like an awesome trip. That video you posted was really crazy! Did you get one of those sweaters while you were there?! I'd want one!
I totally didn't see that you responded to my post about the sideboard until now. Really sorry for seeming like the un-sociable neighbor. I went back to show matt my post and wha-la, you're reply.
Anyway, while you were out nothing exciting happened in the neighborhood. Just some grass cuttin' and barbeque'n. Hopefully we can get some good weather back - and let's do get together again sometime soon!!!
