That shop vac sure looks like it is working hard, unplugged and top half off. ;-)
Ugh... I have the same problem in my basement every time it rains. Good thing you have great allies.
PS: That brave box fan is SO Blake's old fan from college. We wondered what happened to that thing. The broken handle gives it away!
