Yeah! I have the day off with no plans until a little soiree this evening. So, I shall 1) savor my coffee, 2) prepare my appetizer for tonight's gathering, 3) clean my house in case visitors drop by for a tour on Easter, 4) open the curtains, bask in the sunlight and read my book.

really Jennifer, bacon on Good Friday? I'm appalled.
Haha, Janelle. I'm actually making an olive one too for all the Catholics in the house.
LOL, I was going to say the same thing as Janelle!
"Soiree"... I love that word!! I just almost never think to use it myself... :P
P.S. If you're looking for a good book to cuddle up with after you finish your current one, I think you'd really enjoy Ayn Rand's "Atlas Shrugged." It's amazingly insightful with regard to current events, esp. considering it was written over 50 years ago. Just be forewarned that it's quite long (we're talking 1200+ pages here!) and is a bit slow-starting (or at least was for me). After about page 400 or so, though, it seriously gets tough to put down (despite the fact that it weighs about a metric ton)!
