The Little Poinsettia that Could
This little poinsettia makes me so proud! I bought it for $2.49 from Wal-Mart (such humble beginnings) at the end of November, and it's still going strong. I don't think I'm doing anything special - I just water it when I remember and commend it for living so long.

Aw, love that poinsettia! That reminds me of the first Christmas tree we cut down when we got married. It stayed green and vibrant all winter and even was budding in March! However, the base was getting was getting nasty around that time, so we finally had to bid adieu to the valiant tree. *sniff* *moment of silence* :)
Jenna and I got a poinsettia from church. Although it almost died, it is now thriving beautifully.
